Confessions of a Mad Illustrator

As some of you know, I will have to trash my Wordpress blog and move to LiveJournal, which I've heard fantastic things about. Something infected the Wordpress server, so now Google has deemed my blog site as "dangerous to your computer." So now I have to start all over again. But I don't want to lose any of my posts. Anyone who can advise on how to transfer my archives to this one, I'd really super appreciate it.
Also, is it possible to change the design somewhat, like the background image, or adding a banner? The appearance is very important to me.
