Confessions of a Mad Illustrator

I went to Fluke today in Athens, and loved it! I am SO PROUD of our "Sequentials" - both current and alumni!! I'm really glad I got to see everyone in action, and I'm thinking that maybe I'll try for a table  next year - we'll see :)

I'm loving spending time here with my family here in Atlanta - I ADORE this city. Always have. It's so exciting and busy and a nice change from sleepy little Savannah. Overall I'm doing okay, as far as my personal life is concerned. David and I are friends, we still talk and laugh together - I called him last night to let him know I got up here safely, because he still worries. I have my ups and downs from day to day concerning the divorce - I worry about being lonely and starting over, and just the overall "change" in the "normal" way of things. It'll take time, I know. Right now I can't shake this cold/sinus thing, and my appetite isn't as voracious as usual. It's all stress related, but thanks to good friends and family, I'm doing okay. And I'm looking forward to furnishing my apartment. My aunt Angela and I are going to look at bedroom suites tomorrow while I'm in the big ATL.

I'm absolutely addicted to Facebook now, LOL. And I've joined Furaffinity.net - I am simultaneously overwhelmed and touched by the amazing support and response I've received concerning my illustrations. I haven't drawn in what seems like forever, so I'm hoping that once I get settled into my new living conditions, I'll be able to turn to my always faithful drawing table to pour out what's in my head.
